The garage logbook for Tesla owners

What is due for your exact car, what you and the workshop did, which parts fit, and what it all costs per kilometre. One record that travels with the car.

What it does

Model and year specific, from the first screen

A 2015 Model S with air suspension sees its desiccant bag and 12 V battery; a 2022 Plaid does not. No generic reminders.

Schedule Now

Tesla's own intervals resolved for your model, year and region, plus the wear items owners of that generation know: eMMC on MCU1, door handles, fore links, half shafts.

Logbook Now

One entry for a job, whether you did it, a workshop did it or Tesla did. Date, odometer, parts, hours, cost, notes. Logging a job clears the reminder and schedules the next one.

Parts Now

A curated list per generation with Tesla part numbers, fitment and typical prices, and your own inventory of spares and accessories.

Money Now

Loans with their end date, insurance, subscriptions and every job add up to a cost per month and per kilometre. Enter the mileage once a month, or let the car report it later.

Household Now

Share a garage with family: one invite code, and everyone sees the same cars and log.

Reminders and car data Next

Email and push when something comes due. Optional streaming from the car for odometer and alerts, never required.

Why

The S and X fleet is aging out of warranty with nowhere to keep its records

Tesla ended Model S and X production in 2026. Most of the 760 thousand built are still on the road and past their battery and drive-unit warranty. The knowledge of what fails on which year, and where to get it fixed, lives in forums and a handful of independent shops. Tesla's in-car summary tracks intervals but holds no cost, no photos, no parts and no export.

Frunk puts the schedule, the log, the parts and the people in one free place. It starts with the cars we own ourselves: a 2015 Model S and a 2016 Model X in Denmark.

Rules we keep

Free, yours, and not a Tesla product

  1. Free, for real. No paywalled features and no ads in the log. If sponsors come, their placement is labelled and never changes the order of community recommendations.
  2. Works without the car talking to it. Odometer by hand is the baseline. Telemetry is an optional extra.
  3. Your data is yours. Export everything, delete everything. VINs and locations are never sold or shown to sponsors. See the privacy policy.
  4. Not a Tesla product. Manuals and the parts catalogue are linked, never copied, and the Tesla name appears only to say which cars the app is for.
Early access

Open to the founding garage and the people they invite

Frunk is in its first weeks. Accounts are created by invitation while the founding owners test it. If you drive an S or X and want in, write to info@mediamax.dk with the model and year.
